Cuphead is the only game on this list which hasn't been released for the Nintendo Switch yet. It was available on PC and Xbox One since 2017. Cuphead is one of the best indie games ever made, in my opinion. It is a run and gun game where you can also get a second player to join you in a co-op mode.
Cuphead is inspired by 1930s cartoon styles, which featured a lot of whacky and shapeshifting beings. It also has some of the best soundtracks I have ever heard in a game, which is very reminiscent of the 1930s cartoons.
The game is insanely hard. You might find it easier to clear the first few stages but it gets progressively harder. It is common to attempt a stage multiple times before you can clear it. The game also has a "New Game Plus" which is an even harder mode from the already hard normal mode.
Cuphead is the perfect game for the Nintendo Switch. It is very difficult to play this game without a controller. Even on PC, it is a lot smoother to play the game on a controller.
