The Division 2 Beta:  How to level up quickly in Dark Zone and find the best loot

The Division 2
The Division 2

Everyone who has played The Division 1 knows that the Dark Zone was the selling point of the game. A mixture of PvP and PvE content, Dark Zone offered the best loot and it is what made players keep coming back.

In The Division 2 however, Dark Zone has been split up into three parts: Dark Zone East, Dark Zone West and Dark Zone South.

In the private beta, however, we got to try only the Dark Zone East which unlocks after your player character hits level 5.

Now, you can enter the Dark Zone either alone or with a group but levelling up fast is not that easy as it seems.

In the beta, however, the only way to level up real quick was to complete Landmarks in which you had to go to a specific area in the map and take out a certain number of enemies, especially a named enemy(mini-boss). It grants your character a significant amount of XP as well as a loot item which might or might not be contaminated. I levelled up to DZ level 10 in just a span of 2 hours by clearing landmarks and that too while playing solo. Sounds easy right?

Finding the best loot, on the other hand, is a chore. This is something only a rogue agent can do, at least that's what it seemed until now.

Going Rogue in The Division 2 means killing other players, stealing their loots or hacking SHD terminals. Once you indulge in any of these your character will go rogue.

Now, this is when something called the Thieves' Den is introduced.

Apparently, The Thieves Den is an exclusive hideout for players who indulge in enough rogue actions.

Now hacking SHD terminals is the easiest of them all, seemingly because it won't necessarily make you a Man hunted Rogue and have SHD agents hunting you.

Once you have hacked enough of these terminals, the den will be unlocked. You will find an exclusive merchant that sells high-quality loot and you'll also lose your rogue status.

Sounds something you can embark on?
