As if we needed another reason to be excited about Naughty Dog's upcoming action-adventure survival game- The Last Of Us Part 2.

Hailey Gross who is currently co-writing the story of the 2013's sequel along with Creative Director Neil Druckmann recently teased that she might be playing the role of a character in this upcoming game.

She posted the following picture on her Instagram account alongside Neil Druckmann to confirm this.

Whether she is playing the role of an important NPC, or just a side goon is still unknown. However, the chances are that Gross is actually playing the role of some unannounced character that may play an important role in the latter half of Ellie's story.

Since she probably just started mo-cap for the game, it is very likely that this character is introduced somewhat late in the game which speculates to Gross' character being some sort of a villain?

Think of David's character from the original The Last Of Us. It was played by the ever famous Nolan North-the star of Naughty Dog's other big blockbuster franchise-Uncharted in which North played the role of the young Fortune Hunter-Nathan Drake who is the main protagonist in all the four games.

Whatever be the case, the interesting fact is that the game boasts a talented group of artists such as Ashley Johnson, Troy Baker, Laura Bailey and another West World talent-Shanon Woodward who plays the role of Dina, seemingly Ellie's love interest in the game.

And these are just the main characters, the game probably still has more unannounced characters that will try to set a benchmark yet again with their incredible voice acting and motion capture performances just like the original did 5 years ago.

The Last Of Us Part 2 still doesn't have a confirmed release date or a release window.
