A way out left us all shocked with its unique take in the action-adventure genre.

Developed by Hazelight studios and published by EA, A way out is an always co-op game offline in which you and your buddy go on an incredible adventure.

The game may be an indie game but it proves how independent studios given the time and resources can build something really incredible, like Hell Blade did last year, A way out is an adventure which shouldn't be missed out by anyone.

This is actually the only good thing EA has done this year.

The game is available on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

It has a Metacritic score of 78/100.

#5. Monster Hunter World.

Monster Hunter games have always been appreciated by Japanese gamers playing on the Nintendo devices, but Monster Hunter World takes that positive response to a wider audience and hence we have Monster Hunter World.

An action RPG developed for the current generation of consoles and PC, Monster Hunter World has the heart of the previous Monster Hunter games but goes to an extent to welcome new players and at the same time not losing its charm.

Its a great example of how a game as a service model should work with the game receiving regular updates including new events, quests and weapons etc.

Monster Hunter World is available on the PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

It has a Metacritic score of 90/100.
