#4 Bayonetta

Directed by the creator of Devil May Cry series, Bayonetta offers a similar over the top action with a broader focus on sexism and nudity this time around. It puts you in the shoes of Bayonetta who is a witch and just like Dante, can indulge in melee as well as range combat.
The game's premise takes place in a fictional Italian city called Vigrid. As a design perspective, Bayonetta plays very similarly to the Devil May Cry series such as performing different combo manoeuvre grants you a rank, etc. But Director Hideki Kamiya confirmed that Bayonetta was pitched as an original idea but does borrow some references from Devil May Cry 4.

#3 DmC: Devil May Cry ( PC and PS4)

Ninja Theory's take on the Devil May Cry series is a treat on its own. Some might insist that the game takes a completely different route from the original series and features a very grey version of Dante.
Personally, I think DmC: Devil May Cry is an absolutely sick and fun game just like a Devil May Cry game should be. Its colourful and vibrant world is crazy and every time you're dragged into Limbo( the demonic world) it's an absolute sight to behold. I wished Devil May Cry 5 borrowed the level design and visual fedilty from Ninja Theory's version of DMC but alas!
DmC has a Metacritic score of 85/100.
