Dying Light was released for the Xbox One in 2015 and is an open world post-apocalyptic zombie survival game. It initially seems like Valve's Left 4 Dead 2 with it' 4-player co-op mode, but gameplay mechanics such as the various parkour styles and some really badass ways to defeat zombies. It has day-night mechanics where zombies are much harder to fight at night.
The online mode also allows you to "be the zombie" where the player controls a particularly powerful zombie against other players online. Dying Light also has a Battle Royale spin-off called Dying Light: Bad Blood

PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, also known as PUBG for short is the grandfather Battle Royale game mode. It was initially introduced in both PC and Xbox One.
PUBG is a battle royale game which puts 100 players in one map. Players can pick up supplies, armour, clothing and health kits to aid them to victory. PUBG is one of the most popular battle royale games, along with Fortnite. Players have to use their wit and strategy if they want to get "Chicken Dinner", a term used for placing #1 in PUBG.
