Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End official gameplay trailer was unvealed for the first time at the PlayStation Experience keynote. Uncharted series would be coming to PlayStation 4 in the near future. But, the fans were excited to watch the long awaited gameplay of Uncharted 4, as the game’s protagnoist Nathan Drake would be playing in his final chapter of the series.
The main highlight of the gameplay trailer was the game’s fluid combat system, which was influenced from the hit game The Last of Us. This combat system allows more options than ever to both, engage in fights, and avoid them.
Gamespot’s Justin and Danny discussed about this new feature at the event, Danny mentioned that, “...in terms of pacing, in terms of your ability to get away from encounters not necessarily mow dozens and dozens of people, that something we are kind of seeing for the first time in the Uncharted series”

Justin replied “that was the most important thing for me in the new Uncharted game, they borrowed the ideas from the Last of Us, where it’s not just use the room full of enemies to kill them all before you go on, it is being able to evade guys, being able to takedown people, simultaneously fall through and maybe not fight at all”
He also added that, “It felt like Last of Us, in the sense where it’s realistic, when the enemies treat you like a real person and they are trying to make the combat even more exciting, like when running with the gun, shoot the guys and run up just to push them, that felt so fluid, just the way that it melded in with the stage”
Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is set to release in 2015 and is available exclusively for PlayStation 4.
