Unknown 9: Awakening, the upcoming action-adventure game from Reflector Entertainment and Bandai Namco Entertainment, is just a few weeks away from release. And with the game's launch on the horizon, Bandai Namco Entertainment has revealed a ton of information on the upcoming narrative-driven action-adventure title, including pre-order details, system requirements, and more.

The studio Reflector Entertainment's debut AA title, Unknown 9: Awakening is priced at a $50 premium. However, there's also a Deluxe Edition available, which costs $10 more and comes packed with some cool in-game goodies. Furthermore, the game, akin to most modern AAA and AA releases, features a pre-order bonus as well.

How to pre-order Unknown 9: Awakening on all platforms

Unknown 9: Awakening is currently available for pre-order on all platforms, including PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Windows PC (Steam). Unknown 9 is a cross-gen release and if you buy the PlayStation 4 or Xbox One version, you can upgrade to the current-gen version of the game at no additional cost.

Here's how you can pre-order Unknown 9: Awakening on all platforms:

PlayStation 5/4

Head to the PlayStation Store on your PS5/PS4.
Look for the game within the Pre-Orders tab on the store's front page. You can also search for the game using the "search bar" on the Store's front page.
After landing on the game's store page, click on Add to Cart and proceed to checkout. Once the payment is complete, the game will be added to your PlayStation library.
Pre-orders can also be placed using the PlayStation app for Android and iOS.

Xbox Series X|S/ Xbox One

Head to the Store app on your Xbox Series X|S console.
Search for the game using the search bar on the store's dashboard, or look for it within the Latest section.
After landing on the store page, click on Pre-Order and proceed to payment and checkout. Once you complete the payment, the game will be added to your Xbox Games library.
Pre-orders can also be placed using the Xbox app for Android and iOS.

Windows PC (Steam)

Launch Steam on your PC, head to the Store page, and search for the game.
Once you've landed on the game's store page, choose your preferred edition, click "Add to Cart", and proceed to checkout.
Once you complete payment for the game, it will be added to your Steam library.

Similar to most modern AAA and AA releases, Unknown 9: Awakening is offered in two different editions. There's the $50 Standard Edition, which comes with the base game and the pre-order bonus. The game also offers a $60 Deluxe Edition, which comes with a few additional cosmetic packs, on top of the base game and pre-order bonus.

Despite being a cross-gen title, Unknown 9 boasts some rather hefty PC system requirements. The minimum GPU suggested by Reflector Entertainment is an AMD RX 580 (8GB), paired with a 4 or 6-core CPU, with hyperthreading (a la Ryzen 5 3600). As for the recommended requirements, developers mention AMD RX 5700XT equivalent.

Unknown 9: Awakening is scheduled to be released on October 18, 2024, for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Windows PC (via Steam).
