Yes, you read it right. Amidst all the hype and excitements building up for From Software's latest adventure set in 16th Century Sengoku Period of Japan- Sekiro Shadows Die Twice, why one must ponder over a remaster of a 10-year-old game.

Well apparently the folks at GameInformer were very keen to know if such a possibility exists and so during their one of many interviews session of the studio and Miyazaki-The man behind the Dark Souls and Bloodborne games, they ended up asking this question.

This is what Miyazaki had to say about this-

It’s like when you write – when you’re younger, you look back on previous work and you think ‘Oh, goodness what was I thinking,’” . “It’s not that I’m embarrassed, I just don’t like to look at my previous works.”

He adds that he's open to a possibility of a remaster and he also won't oppose if Sony let another studio work on the same if they are dedicated and passionate and really enjoyed the original work and put their heart and soul into making it. But whatever it is, it boils down to Sony whether they want to do it or not since they own the rights of the game.

“You’d have to see what they’re thinking about it."

I know you guys are thinking the same as me. Bluepoint Games-the one responsible for remaking last year's Shadow of Colossus remake from the ground up might be the one to handle this project. Because why not? They themselves stated they are working on something big and its another remake. Immediately fans started speculating that it's either Metal Gear Solid or Demon Souls.

Since Miyazaki is open to such ideas, who knows he might be hinting towards an actual remake of the game from these guys and not a remaster. That would actually be more than we asked for right?

Anyways Miyzaki further states that-

“But it’s really complicated because I have these fond memories. Thinking about the idea of a remaster gives me kind of butterflies in my stomach and makes me a little nervous, so it’s complicated. But I understand there are many users and many players and fans out there who really love Demon’s, so if that’s something they could accomplish with a studio that loved the work, then yeah, I’d be okay with that.

We will probably find more in the near future. For now, Sekiro Shadows Die Twice is all we should care about which is out on 22nd March 2019 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One and boy what a game it is shaping up to be.
