With the Battlefield Hardline beta finally coming to an end last week, developers Visceral Games and EA have taken the time to thank players for their participation and feedback. The beta phase was extremely successful and had nearly seven million players participating in it over the weekend.

Vice President and General Manager of Visceral Games, Steve Papoutsis, thanked players for their valuable feedback on the upcoming game; “We appreciate the response and feedback we have gotten from you in the forums, on social media and while playing with you online… We’d like to take this opportunity to thank the community one more time. We love the two way dialogue we’ve established.”

It was Papoutsis who confirmed the beta count via Twitter last week.

He then went on to explain that the development team is now working on the game and putting all that valuable feedback to good use. The developers have prioritized fan feedback, and have already started adding these suggested changes to the game.

Battlefield Hardline is an upcoming first-person shooter with a ‘war on crime’ theme rather than the usual military setting that the game franchise is known for. So the main focus this time is the Police Department where players can take on the role of either a Cop or a criminal. It will also include seven multiplayer modes, a full single player campaign and diverse maps. The game is slated to release on March 17th for the Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and PC.
