Followers of the WWE are just about recovering from their Wrestlemania 33 hangover, but Youtuber Legend Games was having no such problems after the completion of the WWE’s signature event. Less than 24 hours after Wrestlemania 33 concluded with the Undertaker’s swansong in the ring, Legend Games managed to come out with a perfect recreation of the ten best moments from Wrestlemania 33 on the WWE 2K17 platform.

In case you didn’t know…

The WWE 2K17 offering is the official video game of the WWE and features the complete roster of current WWE superstars. The game which is a massive hit amongst the WWE faithful, is also critically acclaimed for its crisp gameplay and the Community Creations feature which allows users to construct wrestlers from scratch which can then be shared with other members of the 2K Community worldwide.

Wrestlers like the Hardy Boys seen in the video are not originally part of the 2K17 roster as they were not associated with the WWE when the game released. In all likelihood, these characters were created in game by Legend Games using the Create-A-Wrestler feature.

Heart of the matter

The recreation of the ten best moments from Wrestlemania includes Brock Lesnar giving his finisher to Goldberg and obviously features the Undertaker taking in the audience’s appreciation as he climbs off the ring one final time.

Painstaking efforts seem to have been taken to ensure an accurate replication with the in-game action carefully inked to the real life commentary along with an effort to make the player’s attire as similar as possible to that on Wrestlemania.

What’s next?

The video is a commendable piece of work by Legend Games although some parts like the Undertaker leaving his gear in the ring or the Hardy Boys entry could not be replicated due to such situations not being available on the game. We recommend that the reader be updated on the latest in the WWE to truly enjoy the video.

Sportskeeda’s Take

Credit where it’s due, coming out with such a detailed piece of work just 24 hours after Wrestlemania 33 would have been a challenging task. The eye for detail in the recreation is magnificent and makes for a perfect highlight reel of all that happened at this year’s Wrestlemania.
