Everton v Arsenal - Premier League
Rooney does fancy an occasional game of FIFA 18

While playing FIFA 18 Ultimate Team, if you find yourself up against a player who seems strangely dogged yet subtly skillful, physically imposing, and supremely talented yet, never quite at his full potential, The chances are, you’re facing off against the one and only Wayne Rooney.

For sports stars, its not all work and no play. Most often, players love to kick back, relax and pick up a Playstation. Whether they are F1 drivers playing F1 2017 or footballers playing FIFA, everyone loves a good videogame. After all, they are only human and have human desires like us.

As if it wasn't established already, Rooney is a massive Game of Thrones fan. The character that he likes is Jon Snow. So the Everton man uses the moniker Jon Snow to play FIFA 18 with strangers. Kit Harington, the actor playing Jon Snow, is also a fan of Rooney, and his former club Manchester United.

Since its first season, Game of Thrones has taken the world by storm. It is so popular that even even other actors, celebrities and even sports stars are hooked to the series. GoT has been going strong for 7 seasons now and is showing no signs of stopping.

Coming back to the subject of Rooney playing FIFA 18, it is normal for even players to pick up videogames, either for recreation or to improve their skills.

Rooney, who moved from Manchester United to boyhood club Everton, earlier this season, finds himself in troubled waters, with Everton, who are currently in the relegation zoneafter suffering a 5-2 defeat at the hands of London giants Arsenal, on Sunday.

This has also led to the sacking of their Dutch coach Ronald Koeman. However, the Toffees have enough quality in their side, and they should make their way out of the drop zone before that. However, they are playing Chelsea in their next game, followed by a resurgent Leicester side, making their next few weeks a difficult affair.
