A new feature in Brawl Stars has stirred up its community. The game has an active community of players who keep tabs on everything that goes on with their favorite game. From the latest updates to new features, the player base always likes to discuss for clarity. Recently, a Reddit post started a discussion regarding a feature in Brawl Stars, as a user named u/InterestingHunter244 enquired about the point of setting a trophy limit to watch replays:
"What is the point of this feature"
A user named u/SuperJman1111 responded by saying that it had been done to unburden the game's servers:
"To prevent a server overload"
Another user, u/woodchuck321, echoed the same, stating that there are a lot of matches played in the lower levels, and recording all of them would cause a huge load on the servers. The user went on to say that at the lower levels, players mostly encounter bots and there is no use in recording these matches:
"1. there are so many games at that level that if they recorded them all, the servers would actually die.
"2. if you're below 400 trophies then you're usually playing against (actual) (literal) (not figurative, like just straight up) bots so your plays don't mean much"
User u/Leguekko shared their dislike of the feature and talked about a match where they wanted to rewatch a particular scenario:
"I hate this because I wasn't able to rewatch one match where buzz went through wall with his super. I wanted to see what actually happened. I am still salty at soupcell for this. And this is the reason why I pushed all brawlers to rank 20 back then"
Redditors have voiced their opinion on the matter and they have tried to explain the different reasons behind the feature. As we can see many users have engaged in discussions regarding the trophy limit set by the developers of Brawl Stars.
Brawl Stars community gets divided upon a new feature in the game
Overall, a discussion regarding in-game features can help players understand it and bring it to the developer's attention. A majority of the community believes the change in question is good since players who have less than 400 trophies are mostly challenged by bots, removing the need to record those matches.
However, some have said that watching the replays helps them to improve, as they rewatch and learn any unique moves or tactics used against them in a match. Sometimes it also helps them in finding any mistakes that they have made.
While most of the community is okay with the feature, it will be interesting to see if Supercell addresses the concern of the few and make changes or keep it the same.
