World of Warcraft's new blood elf models unveiled

Warlords of Draenor, the recently released expansion for World of Warcraft saw model upgrades for majority of the MMO's original races. Blizzard Entertainment has now revealed its work in progress on one of the remaining races - the blood elf. Pictures of new elf models have been revealed by the developers which do seem promising to say the least.

Battle.net blog post has revealed what we should expect from the new models, both male and female blood elves to look like. As evident from the released pictures, the differences aren’t too significant, but both appear to be slightly more muscular than their predecessors.

"We’re aware that it’s not ideal to see a mix of older player character models next to newer player character models, especially when you happen to be a player of the Blood Elf variety," said Blizzard, "and we’re working as diligently to remedy that situation as quickly as possible without sacrificing quality."

World Of Warcraft : Warlords Of Draenor was released on the 13th of November. Blizzard doesn't have an exact date for when these new blood elves will appear in the game, but it won’t be too long before they are released.
