According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE 2K15 sales seem to be better than last year’s WWE 2K14 sales. The newsletter has now shared the exact sales figure, but 2K Games is probably happy with the result.

WWE 2K14 has not done so well in terms of sales. WWE’s recent financial report has revealed that the game sold less than WWE’ 13. And now the sale for 2K15 at this point in the year are better than WWE 2K14 at the same point in 2013. So it’s definitely good news for 2K Games and WWE in general.

WWE 2K15 has had its own set of problems though, but the game has done fairly well in terms of sales, which is not very surprising. The game is the first in the series to release for the new gen consoles. It is now available for the PS4, PS3, Xbox One and Xbox 360, while WWE 2K14 is only limited to the PS3 and Xbox 360 platforms. The next-gen release, therefore, seems more appealing with better visuals and a different gameplay experience.

The game also includes some fan favourites like Sting and its showcase mode focuses mostly on CM Punk and John Cena. This is a huge advantage over 2K14, especially given that this could be CM Punk’s last official appearance.
