The WWE is known for scouting multiple sponsorship deals with several top corporate conglomerates.

The WWE’s partnership with KFC has been considerably lucrative and is one that’s been highlighted by a few WWE Superstars on its main roster programming, as well as the KFC commercial featuring The Miz and Dolph Ziggler.

The heart of the matter

Not only the professional wrestling community, but also the gaming community has been abuzz with excitement surrounding the WWE’s annual 2K video game, which is set to release later this month.

Kurt Angle -- who recently let fans in on his make-up routine, prepping to essay the role of Colonel Sanders -- appears in the latest commercial that promotes the Angle and Sanders characters as accessible to fans who purchase WWE 2K18. Angle was seen as both himself as well as Col. Sanders, under whose disguise the Olympic gold medalist knocked out Puppers Cluckers Chicken (Heath Slater).

Players can compete as Colonel Sanders by accessing the character via the game's 'Create A Superstar' mode. Besides, gamers can also play selecting two different versions of the Kurt Angle character if you are to pre-order the game.

WWE 2K18 is due for an October 17th release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, whereas, fans can avail the Nintendo Switch version in fall of this year.

Furthermore, WWE and 2K have also revealed the game’s DLC & Season Pass specifications.
