Xbox One back to its normal price after Holiday Sale ends

The price is back to normal again

The Xbox One holiday discount is officially over. The console lagged behind the PlayStation 4 in terms of sales this year but made up for that this past November with the holiday sale. The console initially came bundled with a Kinect and was priced at $499 which seemed a tad bit expensive. Microsoft then reduced the price to $399 after removing the peripheral. The price was further reduced during November after Microsoft announced its Holiday season sale which slashed the price of the Xbox One by $50.

The discounted Xbox One bundle included a copy of Assassin’s Creed: Unity and Assassin’s Creed Black Flag for just $349, a great deal for any buyer. However, this deal has sadly come to an end on the 3rd of January and the Assassin’s Creed Unity bundle is now back to its original price of $399.

There is also the Assassin’s Creed Unity bundle with Kinect that is once again $499 as well.

Microsoft made some pretty good sales in the last couple of months and this was likely the case during this holiday week as well. The VGChartz worldwide sales figures claims that Microsoft has now crossed the 10 million mark with the Xbox One sales. So many had thought that the discounted price would stick as a result of the positive sales figures. But unfortunately that wasn’t the case so it’s quite disappointing for a few people.
