Xbox One: Microsoft and EA Will Release An Anthem Xbox One S Bundle With Premium Benefits

BioWare's highly anticipated multiplayer and co-op game Anthem will be getting an Xbox One S bundle releasing on 22 February. That is also the same release date as Anthem itself. Not only that, players who buy the Xbox One S bundle will also get 1 month free access to EA Access and 1 month of Xbox Live Gold subscription.

Microsoft announced the bundle in a tweet yesterday. Anthem will be available for play on Xbox One S in 4K UHD, which is one of the console's key features. The game already looks beautiful, now imagine in it in 4k!

The bundle that is releasing will be with Anthem's Legion of Dawn Edition, which is basically like Anthem's Deluxe version. The Legion of Dawn Edition will give players access to a legendary weapon as well as armour packs, with the digital soundtrack. It normally costs $79.99 for this version. The EA Access will give players access to multiple EA games and discounts and the Xbox Live Gold which is needed to play online.

The entire bundle will cost $299.99. You can check out more details on the Xbox Store. It is currently only available in the United States. Microsoft and EA will announce later when it is available in other regions, with regional prices.

What is EA Access?

EA Access is a subscription based service which is available only for the Xbox One. If you are a subscriber, you will get instant access to 50+ games released by EA. You will also get early access to games before release.

For example, EA / Origin Access subscribers will get to play Anthem on 15 February, but non-subscribers will get to play on 22 February. In hindsight, this bundle should have been released before 15 February. EA Access subscribers will also get 10% off on digital purchases.
