The Sri Lanka Emerging Cricket Team is all set to travel to Japan for a five-game T20 series against the national side. In a recent statement, SLC indicated that this series was organized at the request of the Japan Cricket Association who were preparing for the East Asia Pacific Regional Final in July.

The first match of the series is scheduled to take place on May 10 at the Sano International Cricket Ground at Kanto. As we gear up to this fixture, let's look at the top 3 potential candidates whom you can pick as a captain or a vice-captain for your JPN vs SL-ET Dream11 team.

#3 Imthiyas Slaza (SL-ET) - 8 credits

Imthiyas Slaza is yet to play a T20 match in his career. He has a formidable first-class record and has been contributing consistently in the domestic arena of late. The uncapped Sri Lankan all-rounder is fairly capable with the bat and the ball and should be picked in your JPN vs SL-ET Dream11 team.

The youngster averages over 30 with the bat and has a 50-plus score to his name. Although his bowling average is slightly higher on the higher side, he has an uncanny ability to keep a tight lid on the scoring rate going at an impressive economy rate of just under 4 RPO.

#2 Tsuyoshi Takada (JPN) - 8.5 credits

The 28-year-old Japanese all-rounder has a prolific record in limited-overs cricket. He has a wealth of experience playing domestic T20 cricket. So far in his long domestic T20 career, Takada has amassed 1138 runs in 81 innings and has smashed a staggering 102 fours and 24 sixes.

He has also delivered with the ball on many occasions and has claimed 66 wickets in 51 innings at an impressive average of just under 16. We certainly recommend picking him as your captain or vice-captain in your JPN vs SL-ET Dream11 team.

#1 Kendel Kadowaki-Fleming (JPN) - 9 credits

And finally, to top our list, Fleming emerges as the number one player whom you can select as your Dream11 captain. Fleming has an astounding batting record that completely outshines his counterparts. He is one of the few Japanese batsmen to have a 50-plus score to his name in T20Is.

He currently averages 45.83 with the bat and has an astronomical strike rate of nearly 200. In his relatively short international career, Fleming has hit 17 sixes and 25 fours making him the top contender for the captain/vice-captain position in your JPN vs SL-ET Dream11 team.
