The Joburg Super Kings take on the MI Cape Town in the 4th match of SA20 2024 on Saturday, January 13, at the Wanderers in Johannesburg. It's the first match of a double-header on Saturday, with a clash between the Durban Supergiants and the Sunrisers Eastern Cape set to follow.

JSK's first match of the season against SEC was a washout, and they'll be keen to play some cricket at this venue. MICT, on the other hand, lost by 11 runs (DLS method) to the Durban Supergiants in a high-scoring rain-affected contest, with Heinrich Klaasen's blitzkrieg taking the game away from them.

The Super Kings-MI rivalry is one that delivers big in almost every T20 league it's a part of, and this one should be no different. On that note, let's look at three Dream11 differentials for this contest.

#3 Thomas Kaber (MICT)

Bowling all-rounder Thomas Kaber could be a stellar differential to have from the MI Cape Town side. His first match in SA20 2024 didn't get off to a good start, as he was taken for 15 runs in the only over he bowled. However, the left-arm leg-spinner could prove crucial in spinning a web around the opposition batters in this match.

Wrist spinners are always capable of breaking partnerships whenever they bowl, and that applies even more so to left-arm leg-spinners, who are a rare breed. Kaber's record suggests that he's more of a run-container than a wicket-taker, but the stages of the game he operates will dictate how many wickets he could pick up.

He's also a handy batter who should score some runs walking in at No. 7 or No. 8. While not a safe or solid pick, Thomas Kaber is a risky differential with a high ceiling for points.

#2 Donavon Ferreira (JSK)

Donavon Ferreira is likely to be JSK's first-choice wicket-keeper for the season.
Donavon Ferreira is likely to be JSK's first-choice wicket-keeper for the season.

Donavon Ferreira is set to keep wickets for the Joburg Super Kings this season, and he's easily one of the best Dream11 picks from JSK, and yet, has a very low ownership heading into this game.

While Kyle Verreynne wore the gloves for them last season, resulting in Ferreira operating as a finisher who usually walked in at No. 6 or No. 7, he's likely to be a floater who bats at No. 4 or No.5, similar to the role which Heinrich Klaasen played for SRH.

He won JSK their first match of the tournament with a stellar 40-ball 82 and a tight spell of 1/28 with the ball. However, he wasn't used properly post that match, and his season ended rather tamely.

He will be crucial in scoring runs at the death overs, and on what should be a belter of a track, there are plenty of Dream11 points for the taking for those who pick Donavon Ferreira.

#1 David Wiese (JSK)

One of the most experienced all-rounders in the circuit, David Wiese is an asset to have for any T20 side, and he's set to assume a crucial position in JSK's lineup. Wiese is likely to bat at No. 6, unleashing his full hitting prowess in the late middle overs, and can be more than handy with the bat in the death overs.

He's also a seamer capable of bowling at all stages of the game, and the conditions will certainly suit his pace bowling. To see an all-rounder of his caliber have a low ownership is simply baffling. He's a no-brainer Dream11 differential.
