Two of the most successful teams in the South African domestic circuit take centrestage as the Cape Cobras host a star-studded Titans side at the Newlands on Friday. While both teams come into the contest with contrasting results to their name, both teams are well matched in each department, making for a evenly matched contest.

While the participation of Lungi Ngidi up in the air, the Titans still walk into the match with the favourites tag with the likes of Elgar and Morris in their ranks.

Squads to choose from:

Cape Cobras:

Dane Piedt, David Bedingham, Tladi Bokako, Isaac Dikgale, Jean-Paul Duminy, Zubayr Hamza, George Linde, Janneman Malan, Pieter Malan, Akhona Mnyaka, Dane Paterson, Jason Smith, Kyle Verreynne, Rory Kleinveldt, Aviwe Mgijima, Mpilo Njoloza

Titans:

Heinrich Klaasen, Tony de Zorzi, Jonathan Vandiar, Henry Davids, Heino Kuhn, Chris Morris, Grant Thomson, Farhaan Behardien, Tshepo Moreki, Junior Dala, Shaun von Berg, Eldred Hawken, Lungi Ngidi, Tabraiz Shamsi, Theunis de Bruyn, Dean Elgar

Playing XI Updates:

Cape Cobras:

JP Duminy is in consideration for a place in the side although Cape Cobras shouldn't be making many changes to a victorious side. The Malans at the top of the order have been highly impressive, with George Linde doing the damage with both bat and ball. Their bowling has also been fairly impressive with Dane Paterson and Dane Piedt leading from the front.

Possible XI: J. Malan, P. Malan, Hamza, Linde, Verreynne (WK), Mgijima, Smith, Piedt(C), Paterson, Bokako and Mnyaka.

Titans:

Lungi Ngidi and Tabraiz Shamsi could miss out with national duties on the horizon which could be another opportunity for Tshepo Moreki and Shaun von Berg. Chris Morris was at his fearsome best with a swift fifty. Elgar made a brilliant comeback to the side and would look to continue in the same manner.

Possible XI: Vandiar/Markram, De Zorzi, Bruyn, Elgar, Kuhn, Klaasen(C&WK), Behardien, Morris, Von Berg, Moreki and Dala.

Fantasy Tips and Suggestions:

Wicket-keeper: Both Klaasen and Verreynne are in brilliant form with the latter even being tipper for a place in the World Cup squad. Either of them would make a great selection into the fantasy side.

Batsmen: The quartet of Dean Elgar, Theunis De Bruyn, Janneman Malan and Zubayr Hamza are the perfect set of players to have in the fantasy team. Elgar and Hamza had great returns to their respective teams with sizeable contributions while much is expected of de Bruyn on Friday.

All-rounders: George Linde has been the standout player for the Cobras with his impressive all-round abilities already making an impact in the competition. Along with him, the likes of Chris Morris and Jason Smith are great options to have in the side.

Bowlers: Dane Paterson and his pin-point yorkers are a must have in the side while Shaun von Berg and Junior Dala are also capable of picking a wicket or two in the middle overs. Dane Piedt is also a handy option, who could slot in for Paterson if necessary.

Captain: George Linde and Theunis de Bruyn are the front-runners for captaincy, considering their form and ability while Dean Elgar can also be backed to replicate his good form on Friday against the Cobras.

Fantasy Suggestion #1: Kyle Verreynne (WK), Janneman Malan, Zubayr Hamza, Theunis de Bruyn, Dean Elgar, Jason Smith, George Linde, Chris Morris, Junior Dala, Shaun von Berg and Dane Paterson. Captain: Theunis de Bruyn

Fantasy Suggestion #2: Heinrich Klaasen (WK), Dean Elgar, Pieter Malan, Theunis de Bruyn, Zubayr Hamza, George Linde, Chris Morris, Jason Smith, Dane Piedt, Dane Paterson and Junior Dala. Captain: George Linde
