Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy action is back with Hyderabad desperately in need of a win against a Baroda side boasting the likes of Deepak Hooda and Yusuf Pathan.

Hyderabad succumbed to defeat in both their games while Baroda have impressed in patches with Pathan in good form as well. Set to take place at the Palam B Stadium in Delhi, a competitive match is in store between two teams looking for nothing but a win.

Squads to choose from

Kedar Devdhar, Vishnu Solanki, Rishi Arothe, Bhargav Bhatt, Deepak Hooda, Karthik Kakade, Lukman Meriwala, Mohit Mongia, Mitesh Patel, Babashafi Pathan, Yusuf Pathan, Pratyush Kumar, Pratik Salunke, Atit Sheth, Swapnil Singh

Himalay Agarwal, Tanmay Agarwal, Ashish Reddy, Akash Bhandari, Mehdi Hasan, Chama V Milind, Mohammed Siraj, Telukupalli Ravi Teja, Ambati Rayudu, Akshath Reddy, Rohit Rayudu, Palakodeti Sairam, Bavanaka Sandeep, Kolla Sumanth, Jamalpur Mallikarjun.

Playing XI Updates

No changes are expected from the Baroda side that played in the previous round of matches. Krunal Pandya is still occupied with national duty so Pathan and Hooda hold the key for Baroda, and their calculated hitting will form a key aspect of their batting approach.

Their bowling is fairly settled with the likes of Bhargav Bhatt and Lukman Meriwala in the ranks.

Possible XI: Devdhar (C), Solanki, Deepak, Yusuf, Swapnil, Mohit, Sheth, Arothe, Patel (wk), Bhatt and Meriwala.

Ambati Rayudu needs to bat higher up the order, as Hyderabad struggled to put up a competitive score against UP when Rayudu came in lower. Their star bowler, Mohammed Siraj has also disappointed; much is expected of the tearaway pacer, but he hasn't delivered so far.

The likes of Rohit Rayudu and Bavanaka Sandeep need to step up if Hyderabad are to avoid a catastrophic third loss in the tournament.

Possible XI: Tanmay, Akshath, Rayudu (c), Rohit, Sandeep, Sumanth (wk), Ashish, Mehdi, Milind, Siraj and Sairam.

Fantasy Tips and Suggestions

Wicket-keeper: Both keepers bat quite deep down the order, which makes this selection a bit tricky. With a few more points bound to be earned with his ability behind the wickets, Mitesh Patel could get the nod over Kolla Sumanth.

Batsmen: Ambati Rayudu and Deepak Hooda are regulars for their IPL teams, making them great options for the fantasy side. Kedar Devdhar is an explosive opener capable of doing damage at the top of the order, making him the perfect selection along with the likes of Akshath Reddy and Vishnu Solanki.

All-rounders: Yusuf Pathan is in good form, having played a fiery knock in the previous match. He is a good selection for the fantasy team, while Bavanaka Sandeep should also be backed to put in a good performance in the Hyderabad top order.

Bowlers: Mohammed Siraj is one of India's best pace bowlers in the shorter formats and has represented India as well. He is a must-have player, while the likes of Meriwala and Milind are also great options to have in the side. One of Arothe and Sheth would suffice in rounding off a balanced fantasy side.

Captain: Ambati Rayudu hasn't performed to his standards yet but could come to the party on Sunday against Baroda. Yusuf Pathan and Deepak Hooda are also viable options if you want to have a player from Baroda as captain.

Fantasy Suggestion #1: Kolla Sumanth (WK), Ambati Rayudu, Kedar Devdhar, Deepak Hooda, Akshath Reddy, Yusuf Pathan, Bavanaka Sandeep, Mohammed Siraj, Milind Chama, Rishi Arothe and Lukman Meriwala. Captain: Ambati Rayudu

Fantasy Suggestion #2: Mitesh Patel (WK), Ambati Rayudu, Vishnu Solanki, Deepak Hooda, Akshath Reddy, Yusuf Pathan, Bavanaka Sandeep, Mohammed Siraj, Chama Milind, Lukman Meriwala and Atit Sheth. Captain: Deepak Hooda
