Another top-of-the-table clash awaits as Vidharba face first-placed Gujarat as they battle it out for the top spot in Group B of the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2019. Both teams have been dominant so far with their experienced players stepping up to the plate to power them over the qualification line. While both teams will be aware of Himachal Pradesh, who are lurking behind them in the third spot, they will look for nothing but a win in Surat, where an even contest between bat and ball is on the cards.

Squads to choose from:

Priyank Panchal, Piyush Chawla, Chirag Gandhi, Hiten Mehra, Roosh Kalaria, Manish Sharma, Axar Patel, Hemang Patel, Hardik Patel, Karan Patel, Parthiv Patel, Tejas Patel, Urvil Patel, Dhruv Raval, Piyush Tanwar, Arzan Nagwaswalla

Ravi Jangid, Faiz Fazal, Ganesh Satish, Rajneesh Gurbani, Akshay Karnewar, Darshan Nalkande, Rushabh Rathod, Jitesh Sharma, Shalabh Shrivastava, Atharwa Taide, Yash Thakur, Akshay Wadkar, Shrikant Wagh, Akshay Wakhare, Apoorv Wankhade

Playing XI Updates:

No changes are expected of Gujarat, who boast of IPL regulars- Parthiv Patel, Axar Patel and Piyush Chawla. Priyank Panchal has the led the side admirably in Patel's absence and looks set to lead them to the next stage as Gujarat head into this crucial match as favourites over the Irani Cup and Ranji Trophy holders, Vidharba.

Possible XI: Parthiv(C&WK), Panchal, Raval, Gandhi, Axar, Chawla, Tanwar, Hemang, Hardik, Arzan and Tejas

A Murali Vijay special saw Vidharba lose their 100% record in the competition and pull them back into the qualification scenario. Like their opponents, not many changes are expected of Vidarbha although Umesh Yadav could play for them on Saturday. Rushabh Rathod did well against TN and should keep his place in the side while much is expected of Taide and Fazal at the top of the order.

Possible XI: Jitesh(WK), Taide, Fazal(C), Satish, Rathod, Jangid, Karnewar, Wakhare, Wagh, Thakur and Umesh.

Fantasy Tips and Suggestions:

Wicket-keeper: Parthiv Patel made his return in Gujarat's previous match but could make many runs against the minnows. He should be backed to spring back to form against a good Vidarbha side with the diminutive batsmen capable of providing quick starts at the top of the other

Batsmen: Priyank Panchal, Faiz Fazal, Ganesh Satish and Chirag Gandhi are the ideal set of batsmen to have in the fantasy side. Panchal has been in good form over the last few months and is bound to score in this crucial match. Rathod is also a viable option to have in the side instead of Satish.

All-rounders: Axar Patel and Piyush Chawla are must have players in the side with their all-round abilities second to none in the match. One of Taide, or Karnewar would suffice in rounding of the all-rounders department.

Bowlers: Arzan Nagwaswalla took four wickets in the previous match and should be backed to pick a wicket or two while the likes of Wagh and Wakhare are also great options to have in the fantasy team. Hardik Patel is also a viable option and could slot in for Arzan in the team.

Captain: Priyank Panchal is the preferred choice for captaincy, considering his form and ability in the shorter format. Axar Patel is also an alternative with his all-round abilities bound to have a major impact on the match.

Fantasy Suggestion #1: Parthiv Patel(WK), Priyank Panchal, Faiz Fazal, Ganesh Satish, Chirag Gandhi, Axar Patel, Piyush Chawla, Atharwa Taide, Shrikant Wagh, Arzan Nagwaswalla and Akshay Wakhare. Captain: Priyank Panchal

Fantasy Suggestion #2: Parthiv Patel (WK), Priyank Panchal, Faiz Fazal, R. Rathod, Chirag Gandhi, Axar Patel, Piyush Chawla, Akshay Karnewar, Arzan Nagwaswalla, Shrikant Wagh and Akshay Wakhare. Captain: Axar Patel
