Haryana:

No changes are expected from the Haryana side that blew away Assam, in a rain-curtailed encounter. Rahul Tewatia has been in sensational form for Haryana with both bat and ball while the likes of Himanshu Rana and Amit Mishra have also played their part to perfection.

Jayant Yadav's inclusion in the side beefs up their bowling invariably with much expected of the off-spinner. Sumit Kumar was the star of the show with the ball against Assam and is one to look out for against Karnataka.

Karnataka:

With the qualification all but wrapped up, Karnataka have the luxury to ring in a few changes to give youngsters a chance to prove their credentials as well. Prasidh Krishna could return to the playing XI with the KKR pacer impressing with his accuracy and variations over the past year.

Rohan Kadam and Shreyas Gopal have been in top form for Karnataka with the likes of Agarwal, Pandey, and Nair yet to fire in unison. The bowling unit looks fairly settled with Vinay Kumar's experience shining up front with the new ball.

Wicket-keeper: Both Saini and Sharath are capable of scoring some quick runs for their respective team although Saini should get the nod with the depth of the Karnataka batting taken into account. Sharath might not get a chance to showcase his ability with the likes of Nair and Pandey ahead of him, which directs towards the inclusion of Nitin Saini.

Batsmen: Mayank Agarwal has also shown glimpses of what he is capable of and should be backed to score big runs on Saturday. Karun Nair and Himanshu Rana are also great options to have in the side while Rohan Kadam could slot in for either Nair or Agarwal if necessary.

All-rounders: Rahul Tewatia and Sumit Kumar are the lynchpins of the Haryana side with their all-round abilities blowing away Assam in their previous encounter. Along with the Haryana duo, Shreyas Gopal is a great pick, considering his record of ten wickets in just four matches so far in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2019.

Bowlers: Pacers, Abhimanyu Mithun, and Prasidh Krishna are viable options to have in the side along with the leg-spin of Amit Mishra. One of Hooda and Chaprana would suffice in rounding off the team with the likes of Suchith and Jayant Yadav waiting on the sidelines.
