15-year-old British-born Indian origin footballer Yan Dhanda made his debut today for the Liverpool U-18s against Tottenham.
The youngster signed for Liverpool in July 2013 after the Merseyside club fought off competition from the likes of Arsenal and West Bromwich Albion.
Dhanda became a sensation on the internet after a YouTube compilation of his skills impressed most people. The youngster was also called on to represent the England U-16s.
The teenager was also chuffed about learning of his impending debut yesterday and expressed happiness at the same on Twitter.

The game didn’t end well for the Reds as they lost to Tottenham 1-0 but Dhanda looked lively on the pitch. His forward movement was good to see and his footwork and trickery to beat challenges was also notable.
He was also instrumental in releasing players into space with a number of through balls which weren’t converted. Promising signs for the youngster’s future!
