Later today, India take on hosts Nepal in their third and final match of the 2013 SAFF Championship – Group A at the Dashrath Stadium in Kathmandu, Nepal and if one looks at the history books, then India is clearly ahead.

Overall India and Nepal have met 13 times in international football matches with India winning nine, Nepal winning two, and two of the matches ending in a draw. In these 13 matches, India have scored 22 goals and Nepal six in total.

The biggest victory margin was a 4-0 win for India, which the Blues have achieved twice in their history against their neighbours.

The last match between India and Nepal was played in the 2012 Nehru Cup in New Delhi and the match had ended in a goalless draw.
