FC Kerala were in a commanding position as far as the group standings were concerned, prior to their fixture against Ozone Bengaluru. Having lost out to a goal’s difference today, the Keralites have lost out on their top spot on the Group B points table. Having lost just one out of their seven matches, won five and drawn one, FC Kerala were leading Group B with sixteen points – two ahead of Ozone FC Bengaluru. However, following their 1-0 loss to the Bengaluru team, they have now moved a spot below.

The defeat against Fateh Hyderabad AFC saw Madhya Bharat Sports Club face defeat for the eighth consecutive occasion this season. Their 2-1 loss today also took them to the bottom of the Group B points charts. Having lost eight out of their eight fixtures so far has landed the team from Madhya Pradesh in a trouble ahead of the next stages of the competition. Meanwhile, Fateh Hyderabad AFC are at two spots above their opponents of the day, at the fourth position with three victories, a draw and two losses. The Hyderabadi club is all set to face Ozone Bengaluru in their upcoming fixture on May 4, 2018, while Madhya will lock horns with the Reserve team of Indian Super League outfit, FC Goa on May 13, 2018.
