The 34th edition of the All India Sikkim Governor’s Gold Cup Football Tournament will be held from November 7 to 19, 2013 on the artificial turf of the Paljor Stadium in the state capital Gangtok.
Sixteen reputed teams from across India and possibly neighbouring countries are likely to participate, including two teams from Sikkim. The organiser, the Sikkim Football Association, is all geared up to make the tournament a grand success.
Border Security Force from Jalandhar are the defending champions, having defeated Three Star Club of Kathmandu 3-0 on penalties in last year’s final.
