67th Santosh Trophy: Bengal name final 20 player squad

The Indian Football Association (West Bengal) has announced their final 20 player squad for the 67th edition of the National Football Championship for the Santosh Trophy, which is being played from February 1 to March 3 in Kerala and Uttar Pradesh.

Record champions Bengal have been drawn in Group A of the preliminary round to be played in Kochi, having to face Delhi on February 17 and Indian Railways on February 19.

Manoranjan Bhattacharya has been named as the coach and Satyajit Chatterjee as his assistant, with the former calling up numerous bench and fringe players of Kolkata I-League sides East Bengal, Mohun Bagan and Prayag United, besides players from Calcutta Premier Division teams.

The IFA will tomorrow launch their new jersey at a press conference.
