6th FPAI - Indian Football Awards 2014: 5-A-Side game ahead of Awards night

This year ‘McDowells No.1 Soda’ presents the 6th edition of the FPAI – Indian Football Awards 2014 which will be held tomorrow at the Park hotel in Kolkata. But before the gala awards night, there will be a high profile 5-A-Side match at 5pm at the Parsee Club on the Kolkata Maidans.

McDowell’s Mohun Bagan take on an FPAI Fives. And a lot of high profile players will be seen in action.

For McDowell’s Mohun Bagan will play Shilton Pal, Monotosh Ghosh, Anyichie Echezona Celestine, Pritam Kotal, Manish Bhargav, Argha Chakrabarty, Shaiju Mon, Ram Malik, Rajib Ghorui, Shankar Oraon, Adarsh Lama Tamang. Mridul Banerjee will coach the side with Arpan Dey as goalkeeping coach and Soumya Bhattacharjee as Physiotherapist.

Meanwhile the FPAI Fives will see following Indian players Abhijit Mondal, Nirmal Chettri, Gouramangi Singh, Mahesh Gawli, Arnab Modal, Samir Naik, Dipankar Roy, Susanth Mathew, Mehrajuddin Wadoo, Renedy Singh, Clifford Miranda, Lalrindika Ralte, Jahan Mehta, Boithang Haokip, Alwyn George, Abhishek Yadav, and foreigners Simon Colosimo, Darryl Duffy, Luciano Sabrosa, Mathew Foschini, Minchol Son and Cornell Glen in action.

A good 5-A-Side match is expected ahead of the gala awards evening.
