Al-Nassr came from a goal down to beat Al-Sadd 2-1 in the first leg of their AFC Champions League quarter-final in Riyadh on Monday.
The home side came close to opening the scoring in the 14th minute, but Saleh Al Abbas' struck the post.
The Qatari side, managed by former Spain great Xavi, then broke the deadlock seven minutes later through Ali Assadalla.
However, the teams went in at the break level after Abdulrahman Al Dosari equalised in the 44th minute.
After Giuliano had a shot superbly saved, the Brazilian midfielder then put the Saudi side 2-1 ahead the 71st minute and that's how the match ended.
The return leg takes place in Doha on 16 September.
