India’s first dedicated Diploma course in Football Management by WIFA and Skillanation has now been recognised by the apex body of the sport in the country – All India Football Federation (AIFF). This offers students of Class XII onwards an unprecedented opportunity to be trained for a year as Managers of Football within India and initiate a career path within the sport with the strongest possible foundation of knowledge, experience and network.

Mr. Kushal Das, General Secretary of AIFF remarked, “We congratulate WIFA for launching a Diploma in Football Management course in association with Skillanation and the All India Football Federation fully supports this endeavour and we are glad to confirm that the AIFF recognises this course.”

Three Diploma course tracks have been launched – Full time, Part time and Online, allowing students to choose their preferred course. The Diploma will teach students the entire gamut of Football Management, Marketing, Sponsorships, Grassroots Development, Merchandising and Governance.

Students, upon completion of the course, will be able to work with Clubs, Academies, Teams, Leagues and Federations.

“We have seen the huge difference that trained coaches and referees can make to the sport and similarly it is imperative that we train Football Managers to lead the development of Football in the country” said Mr. Henry Menezez, CEO of WIFA.
