The Brasil Futebol Academia and Vasco Sports Club will hold selection trials for their joint Under-14 team on Monday, November 19 from 4 pm onwards at the Chowgule Grounds, Gogol Margao.Those born on or after January 1, 1999 are requested to report at the ground by 3.30 pm with their full playing kit and birth certificate. BFA Technical Director Juliano Fontana and Head Coach Rodrigo Mendes Silva along with the other academy coaches will scout the players for selection for the Under-14 team.
Players selected will complete a pro-level football training program run by BFA and supported by Vasco Sports Club, and represent them in age group tournaments against top clubs. Players will be trained and allowed to use the state of the art facilities at the Chowgule Sports and Fitness Centre which includes a multi-gym, physiotherapy centre and an Astro-turf ground.
BFA hopes that young players who aspire to become professional footballers will attend the trials and give them an opportunity to scout boys with outstanding potential.
