Second half substitute Muhanad Ali scored an 88th minute winner as Al Duhail beat Al Sailiya 2-1 at home in the Qatar Stars League in Doha on Thursday.
The result means Al Duhail top the table with 14 points from six matches.
Second-placed Al Sadd, who have two games in hand, are on 12 points.
