David Beckham to leave LA Galaxy?

The former Manchester United and Real Madrid star, David Beckham may not opt for a renewal of the current deal with LA Galaxy. His one-year extended contract with Galaxy ends after this season, according to the ‘Daily Mail’.

It also says that Beckham has no intention of retiring from the game, which is creating speculation among the fans. According to rumors, it is reported that the British International may move to New York RedBulls, where former Arsenal captain and Barcelona star, Thierry Henry is playing.

It is also reported that Victoria, Beckham’s wife, is looking for schooling options for their four children in New York.

Last season, LA Galaxy won the league title thanks to Beckham. If he leaves Galaxy, the team might be at a loss because Beckham’s void is tough to fill.

He has scored 8 goals in 27 matches this season and has played a key role in Galaxy’s victories.

A source said: ‘Talks have begun about the next step for the family and New York is one of the options being talked about seriously.

‘LA has given the family the outdoors lifestyle that they’ve loved for five years. But now the children are getting older and the couple need to look to the future in their careers.’

This week, Beckham was asked if he has the potential to play another season.

‘Who knows?’ he said. ‘I’m going to enjoy being in the play-offs… and then we’ll see how this body feels. Even when I stop playing, I’ll have a hunger to do something better and be the best.’
