Delhi Dynamos finish their Pre season tour in style

Delhi Dynamos start their campaign against FC Goa on the 4th

New Delhi, 17th September:

Delhi Dynamos played against Danish side FC Vestsjaelland on 16th September and gathered a well fought out draw which brought out a perfect ending to their European Preseason tour. The result will definitely be a huge boost of confidence for both the players and staff as the Vikings are one of the best teams in Denmark.

The Dynamos family who played against other top teams from Sweden like Varberg BOIS, BK Hacken and Skene IF will be raring to go as the second season of the Hero Indian Super League kicks off on 3rd October.

The Dynamos spearheaded by marquee player manager Roberto Carlos, feature a host of International players like Florent Malouda, John Arne Riise, Gustavo dos Santos, Hans Mulder, Adil Nabi and Toni Doblas along with top Indian players like Robin Singh, Sehnaj Singh and Francis Fernandes. With the right mix of youth, experience and quality spread across every position, the Lions would go all guns blazing with an outlook to end the season as champions.

Delhi Dynamos Head Coach Roberto Carlos talking about their preseason said, “This preseason was amazing. We have improved a lot. I really liked our last game where we started to understand what was needed and played as a team. Can't wait to get in Delhi and also can't wait for our first game."

Speaking about the preseason the Lions President, Prashant Agarwal said, “The entire experience and exposure the team has had in Sweden and Denmark is fantastic. I take this opportunity to thank everyone for their warm hospitality. The performances in pre-season against some of the big teams from Scandinavia is an indication of the quality in the team and what we are capable of doing this season.“

The Pride will be arriving in New Delhi on 18th September for their final preparations ahead of their first ISL game on 4th October against FC Goa in JLN Stadium, Fatorda.
