Delhi Senior Division: Garhwal Heroes new Delhi champions!

Garhwal Heroes are the new Delhi Senior Division champions, their second-ever Delhi league title, after a 1-0 victory against Goodwill FC in the finals at the Ambedkar Stadium today.

The Super League of the Delhi Senior Division was played from Sunday, February 24 onwards until the final today with the league having been postponed in-between due to controversies regarding Garhwal Heroes and their win against Shahdara Club.

The leagues individual prizes were won by Baljinder Singh (Goalkeeper, Veterans FC); Yogesh Prasad (Defender, Garhwal Heroes); Rajesh Meitei (Midfielder, Goodwill FC); and Shashank Mamgian (Striker, Delhi United); while Bhupendra Rawat (Goodwill FC) was named as best coach.

The Most Disciplined Team award went to Ahbab FC, who received the Dharamvira Fair Play trophy instituted by Mughals SC.
