FC Barcelona on Friday said they had paid the 120 million Euros (134 million US dollars) release clause to sign France international Antoine Griezmann from La Liga rivals Atletico Madrid.
Griezmann has signed a five-year contract at Barcelona, which will run until 30th June 2024, and the 28-year-old's new deal comes with a release clause of 800 million Euros (900 million US dollars).
