India's only representative from the state of Mizoram, talented midfield player Lalengmawia started his journey from very humble and simple beginnings. The son of a butcher in a family of five, he followed his passion towards football and was given full support by his family and he will now be playing on the biggest stage, representing his nation.
Lalengmawia plays primarily as a central midfielder but can also play as an attacking midfielder providing crucial balls for the front men and even contribute with a few goals of his own.
