Apparently, Indian football fans haven't warmed too well to the concept of spending ?4695 to own an official Indian football jersey. Sports goods companNike has been in a partnership with the All Indian Football Federation (AIFF) for more than a decade now, but until now, it hasn't explored the idea of producing Indian football team shirts for commercial purposes.
That has been another sore point of Indian football which stands to be corrected soon, but given India is a not-so-healthy country in monetary terms, the exorbitant pricing of the India shirt by Nike - probably in conjunction with the AIFF - hasn't been received well by numerous Indian football fans.
