Football fans react in surprise as CK Vineeth is dropped from India squad despite scoring brace for Kerala Blasters
India will take on Myanmar in their next AFC Asian Cup qualifier.
The Indian football team for the upcoming AFC Asian Cup 2019 qualifier against Myanmar has been announced, according to Goal India this morning, and a surprise exclusion was that of Kerala Blasters' star forward CK Vineeth.
Incidentally, Vineeth scored a brace against Real Balompedica Linense yesterday in a pre-season friendly in Spain. The Blasters won 2-0 courtesy of two Vineeth goals in the 49th and 59th minutes, but Constantine was not having any of it as he gave call-ups to two young forwards - Hitesh Sharma and Alen Deory - instead.
