Football Five

The highlight of this week were the game changer matches along with the second committee meeting of Football Fives League which lead to brainstorming between the franchisee owners and organising committee on ways to improve the league and maintain the professional standards. This week many players took the spotlight with their goals and amazing play.

Barefoot FC had a tough competition in Football Aura. Both the teams were equally competitive and having played many matches against each other previously, were fully aware of each other’s game.

“A lot of extra practise – say three days a week – had gone into the game. We were confident that we are going to win it. It was also crucial for us to maintain our league standing and this week, we are in position 3,” says Prajval from Barefoot FC.

“It was a close game for us. We didn't want to write off AURA after our first half lead. The second half game plan was to maintain the lead and to try and get more goals as possible. Aura bounced back well but our boys played well to secure the 3 points,” said Calvyn Marshall from Barefoot FC.
