What's the story?

The third edition of the Football Movement is all set to be held on February 22 and 23 in Mumbai. Former Manchester United defender Nemanja Vidic will attend the conference as a special guest.

The DIT, UK Department for International Trade, along with India On Track and the Premier League will be bringing together sports organisations, football clubs and businesses to focus on the growth of football in India.

The Football Movement was set up with the vision to create a platform where stakeholders from around the globe could meet and provide for business opportunities that would help the Indian sports industry grow.

This event is an annual event, where each edition is based on a core theme that is relevant to the sports scenario of the country at present.

The event will be a 2-day conference where Vidic will speak about his experiences as a Premier League veteran. He will also share his thoughts about the game and provide ideas to develop the sport in the country.

The conference will also feature renowned speakers including Director General of UK Department for International Trade, India & South Asia, Premier League Managing Director Richard Masters, as well as representatives of the Premier League clubs, the Indian Super League (ISL) and the All India Football Federation (AIFF).
