Gionee to sponsor Shillong Lajong in the 2014-15 I-League
Shillong, January 16, 2015: Gionee, a leading global design and manufacturer of mobile devices today announced its association with Northeast India’s favourite and ever popular football club, Shillong Lajong, for the 2015 I-League season. Shillong Lajong FC is the biggest Club in the NorthEast and with this association, Gionee plan to spread and promote the spirit of the beautiful game across North East and further to other parts of the country.
Shillong Lajong FC have served as the nursery for potential football talent in the country and Gionee are completely committed to the cause. With this partnership, the latter would be working towards taking the game of football along with the club to every household in the NorthEast.
