GISB and IT Magia Solutions partner to provide Sports Management opportunities for students

The Global Institute of Sports Business (GISB), who were recently awarded the best sports management program in India by Mid-Day, have announced an affiliation with IT Magia Solutions to provide its students with practical experiences in the ever-growing sports landscape of India. GISB provides a perfect blend of theoretical and practical knowledge through its unique Industry-designed and Industry-delivered program.

IT Magia Solutions are a premier sports and events management company, who provide strategic consultancy to help companies create unique sporting IPs and events including facilitating partnerships. IT Magia Solutions also owns ‘Adidas The Base’ a popular football venue in New Delhi, with three state of the art football pitches covering over 30,000 square feet.

Other notable properties owned by IT Magia Solutions include the Legends Cup, India’s biggest corporate tournament, Street Ball League, the newest amateur basketball league that took place in Mumbai and the Adidas Creators Premier League, one of the most renowned semi-professional football leagues that runs across New Delhi, Mumbai and now Bangalore.

The Global Institute of Sports Business is also a proud owner of the GISB Blue Flames, a women’s football team participating in the Adidas Creators Premier League.

The formation of the GISB Blue Flames team is an opportunity created by GISB to empower women through sport and promote the participation of women in sports management. The GISB Blue Flames team will be managed and run by the female students at GISB, to showcase their learnings on team management, sponsorship, event management and leadership skills learned through the program.

The affiliation will also provide an opportunity for all the aspiring sports management professionals from GISB to work on live projects and gain exposure to the operational requirements of conducting large-scale amateur sporting events. In addition to this, IT Magia Solutions will also conduct guest lectures and recruit interns from GISB.
