Hindustan began the game on a positive note. The Delhi based side kept knocking on the doors to open the scoring. The Kashmir side looked abysmal in the opening minutes in defense and were rightfully punished.

Hindustan went into the halftime break with a slender 1-0 lead.

Lonestar tried to get back into the game with few long balls across the field, but the Hindustan defence stood strong and tall to thwart each and every dangerous looking ball.

Kashmir kept pressing looking for the equaliser but Hindustan somehow held them on to register their third victory of the season.

Hindustan FC will next face Real Kashmir at the same venue on 12th April while Lonestar Kashmir will face Hindustan again, next up on 17th April in the return fixture at the TRC Turf Ground, Srinagar.
