India Football Tour has associated with Chennai City FC for its Chennai leg of the tour. The event will happen on 18th September at JN Stadium B Ground 9 AM Onwards. The common ground of promoting amateur football in the country brought the two companies together and got them to associate to make India Football Tour reach to the local players.
Amateur Football tournaments is pretty common in Chennai. Most of the players in the tournaments are below poverty line. Majority of these players also play in the Chennai League. “The motto is to show it out to the public as for the players in these tournaments”, Says Rohit Ramesh, Team Owner, Chennai City FC.
India Football Tour aims to find the local players and provide them with a bigger platform than just the local tournaments that the city has seen for amateurs. IFT is a welcome change to show the footballing community that good players exist.
