According to recent rankings, released by FIFA, India has dropped to the 169th spot. This equals their worst ever ranking which they first achieved in September 2012.
In the Continental rankings, Japan are top of the table followed by Korea Republic, Australia and Iran. India are sitting on the 31st position, ahead of teams like Bangladesh and Nepal.
