22-year-old winger Ashique Kuruniyan was highly impressive during the 2018 SAFF Championship and showed glimpses of brilliance. He made his debut in 2018 itself in the match against Chinese Taipei in the Intercontinental Cup.

The youngster opened India's tally of goals by scoring the first goal in their inaugural match of SAFF Championship against Sri Lanka, which India eventually won 2-0. It is unlikely that he will get a start in the friendly against the Red Dragons but he may be used effectively as a substitute in the second half.

The Kerala-born player can be a thorn in the opposition's defence as he uses his pace on the flanks really well.

Besides the national team, Ashique plays for Pune City FC in the Indian Super League.

#4 Nikhil Poojary

23-year-old Nikhil Poojary was always at the helm of things during the SAFF Championship. The midfielder made good use of the ball and looked comfortable in possession. The hardworking youngster has a great game sense and forms a formidable pairing with Thapa.

Even though he missed quite a few chances, his goal against Maldives in the second group stage match of SAFF was crucial for India. This was his first international goal and he took it in some style.

The youngster already has 6 international caps to his name and would be hoping to take that tally to 7 when the Men in Blue take on China. Nikhil's ability to swing in crosses can be used to great effect against China.

He currently plays for Pune City FC and has represented East Bengal in the past.

24-year-old Sumeet Passi scored two of India's goals at the 2018 SAFF Championship, the first in the 3-1 Semifinal win against Pakistan and the second in the 1-2 loss to the Maldives in the final. The prolific striker has a knack of scoring goals, and with the poor form that Jeje is in, Constantine might just field Passi.

He currently plays for Indian Super League team Jamshedpur FC. Sumeet can be used as an effective substitute and can produce the goods on his given day.

The match is between India and China is scheduled to be played at 5 pm IST at the Suzhou Olympic Sports Centre Stadium in China. The LIVE Updates of the match can be followed on Sportskeeda.
