Jordan are a strong side and they have proved their prowess to the World by reaching the quarterfinals of the Asian Cup in 2004 and 2011, respectively. They also put up a dominant display during the 2014 West Asian Football Championship and finished runners-up. Both India and Jordan are gearing up for their fourth appearance in the AFC Asian Cup. Al-Nashama featured at the mega-Asian football extravaganza in 2004, 2011, and 2015. Meanwhile, the Blue Tigers have played the Asian Cup in 1964, 1984, and 2011. And 2019 will be the 4th appearance for both the teams.

With so many Coaches being changed consistently, it is tough to predict one particular style of play for the Jordan national team. Each tactician imparts his methodologies and ideologies after taking over the side. In the three matches in charge, Borkelmans has led Jordan to two goalless stalemates, against Albania and Oman, respectively. The third match ended in a defeat against Croatia. Baha' Faisal scored the solitary goal for Jordan in the friendly against Croatia after coming on as a substitute in the match. The 23-year-old striker currently plays for Kuwait Sporting Club. Sandesh Jhingan & Co. are sure to have a tough time defending against the youngster as he is in terrific form.

Yaseen Al-Bakhit is an attacking midfielder but can also play on the left or right wing. The 29-year-old currently plies trade with UAE club Dibba Al-Fujairah. He has 5 goals for Jordan in 34 appearances. His versatility as a player can become a crucial factor in the upcoming friendly match.

Khalil Bani Attiah, Jordan's Attacking Midfielder, and striker Musa Al-Taamari are another two players the Indian defense will need to keep a close eye on this Sunday. However, it is doubtful that these 2 will recover from their injuries and be in the starting line-up.
